1 Corinthians 1:8-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 Corinthians 1 in context

Scripture Focus

8Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Corinthians 1:8-9

Biblical Context

God will confirm you to the end so you may be blameless at the day of Christ; God is faithful and called you into fellowship with His Son.

Neville's Inner Vision

To the ear of the inner self, this passage declares a certainty rather than a plan. God will confirm you unto the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ—yet the 'end' is not future fate but a present realization of your own consciousness. In Neville’s terms, God is the I AM—the unwavering awareness that you are, and that awareness is faithful. Your call into the fellowship of His Son is a call into likeness, a diesis of unity with Christ already within. When fear, fault, or fault-finding arises, recognize them as counterfeit states, not the truth of who you are. The day of the Lord is simply the moment you awaken to your oneness with the divine life, not a calendar date. As you dwell in this trust, your outer conduct aligns with your inner truth, and the sense of separation dissolves. The Father’s faithfulness rests in the very act of attention you give to this truth; by recognizing your unity with God, you are preserved in the state of grace you already possess.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the end: I am blameless in Christ now. Feel that reality in your chest, and let it settle into every thought and sensation.
