Inner Genealogies of I Am
1 Chronicles 5:17 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse states that these people were counted by genealogies in the days of Jotham and Jeroboam. It frames lineage as a record kept in the reigns of Judah and Israel's kings.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, these lines show that the record of a people is not a ledger of distant events but a mirror of consciousness. Genealogies are the recurring states of mind you allow to register in your awareness; the two kings named mark the two crowds within you: Jotham the righteous inner governance and Jeroboam the outward ego that seeks to rule your day. When you accept that what you are aware of grows into your life, you begin to see that your present form is only the latest entry in a long lineage of feeling and belief. The verse invites you to notice that your inner states, not outer circumstances, determine what is counted as real. If you dwell in fear, that line grows; if you assume the I AM as king, a new lineage appears. Hence the practice of imagination as revision: dwell in the feeling of the wish fulfilled, assume you already reign, and let the inner register shift. Soon the world that corresponds to that inner record becomes your seen reality, for you are the I AM imagining itself into form.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine you are the I AM reading a scroll of your life. Rewrite the entries with your desired inner states and feel them as already real, the new genealogy ruling.
