1 Chronicles 4:28-30

Biblical Context

The passage lists the towns where Simeon dwelt, recording a geographical map of their tribal settlements.

Neville's Inner Vision

These names are not miles of land but movements of consciousness. The chronicler’s inventory becomes your inner map: Beersheba, Moladah, Hazarshual, Bilhah, Ezem, Tolad, Bethuel, Hormah, Ziklag are states you may freely inhabit by the I AM you are. To dwell in Beersheba is to drink from a covenant of wholeness; to rest in Bilhah is to cradle the family ties you esteem; Ziklag invites bold neighbor-love and shared risk; Hormah signals the release of fear and destruction of resistance. Each town marks a texture of mind you choose to entertain, and as you assume these states, the Presence of God—your undisturbed I AM awareness—enters and circulates through every room of your inner house. The list is not a record of conquest but a map of how you are willing to feel, imagine, and place your attention. When you honor family and neighbor-love in your inner weather, the exterior life re-aligns to reflect the inner peace you cultivate. The geography is yours to own, and the God within bids you dwell there, always.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly and assume you are dwelling in Beersheba, feeling the covenantal calm; then revise a current relationship in your mind so it reflects peace, love, and mutual understanding as if it already exists.
