Biblical Context
David’s reign is described in two inner stages: six born unto him in Hebron, seven years and six months there, and then thirty-three years in Jerusalem.
Neville's Inner Vision
The six born unto him in Hebron are six inner states arising in the soil of consciousness—trust, courage, discernment, patience, loyalty, and vision. Hebron is the inner fortress where I begin to reign over these qualities. The seven years and six months mark the time needed to stabilize this condition within my sense of self. The move to Jerusalem—the thirty-three years—symbolizes the heart's capital, the seat from which all experiences are governed. The lesson is inner geography: start with grounded sovereignty, then extend it to full, enduring dominion. My imagination is the throne and, by feeling it real, I decree 'It is done' until the outer world reflects the inner king.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, declare, 'I am king now in Hebron and Jerusalem,' and feel the throne beneath you; dwell there for 5–10 minutes, revising any sense of lack until it is felt as real.
