Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse names Ahijah as overseer of the sacred stores, signaling careful, holy management of God’s treasures. In Neville's view, this points to the inner storehouse of awareness you steward: thoughts, beliefs, and virtues.
Neville's Inner Vision
Picture Ahijah as the master of an inner treasury, not a gold chest alone but the mind's sacred funds: attention, purity, integrity. The house of God is your awareness, the temple where the I AM dwells. To be over the treasures is to be in command of your inner bank, deciding what thoughts and feelings circulate there. The verse teaches that wealth must be guarded, yet also consecrated to divine purpose. In Neville's method, wealth is not outside you but a state of consciousness you assume and allow to unfold. When you identify as the one who oversees the house's riches, you stop scattering attention on lack and instead pour energy into higher possibilities. Your assumption creates the reality; you revise any sense of separation; you feel as if the divine funds are safely held by you, with purity and integrity. The hallways of memory and desire become channels for generosity, gratitude, and holiness. By imagining yourself as the custodian of all spiritual wealth, you awaken the I AM to its effective alchemy.
Practice This Now
Assume you are the Ahijah of your inner temple. Close your eyes, become aware of your inner treasure-house and feel the weight and wonder of guarding it—then declare, 'I am the steward of divine abundance,' and feel it real.
