Inner Succession of Hebronites
1 Chronicles 23:19 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 1 Chronicles 23 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse lists Jeriah, Amariah, Jahaziel, and Jekameam as the four sons of Hebron, a genealogical record within 1 Chronicles.
Neville's Inner Vision
Take the four names as more than history: they are four inner states of consciousness by which you steward your inner kingdom. Jeriah the first is the awakening of awareness - the I AM itself opening your sight. Amariah the second represents disciplined steering - will aligned with inner law. Jahaziel the third is vision and inspired understanding, the breath of insight that guides your steps. Jekameam the fourth is action - the manifested fruit that follows when the inner line is harmonious. This Hebron line is a covenant inside you, a unity that dignifies every face of life by revealing the Imago Dei within. Your community and family are reflected not as distant persons but as aspects of your own mind acting in accord. When you inhabit this inner lineage, you do not rewrite history so much as rewrite your state of consciousness; your outer world rearranges to fit the order you hold inwardly. The four states serve one throne - the I AM - and together create a stable, dignified flow of life.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, breathe, and revise: 'Jeriah, Amariah, Jahaziel, Jekameam rise in me as a single line of consciousness under the I AM; I feel their unity and govern from within.'
