1 Chronicles 23:12-13

Biblical Context

The passage names the Kohathite line and shows Aaron’s separation to sanctify the holy things, burn incense, and minister before the LORD forever.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you, the Kohathite line governs inner states. When I declare 'I AM,' I separate a portion of my mind to sanctify the holy things of my inner temple. Aaron's work—sanctifying the most holy, burning incense before the LORD, and blessing in His name—becomes my inner discipline: I keep sacred thoughts elevated, let prayers rise, and minister to the divine presence by steady, faithful action. The 'forever' is not time-bound but the timeless state of consciousness that remains when I dwell in the I AM. Moses and Aaron appear as two functions of one consciousness—the idea and its consecration—one that understands and one that acts from the sacred. My practice is to align with that unified state so that every thought, word, and deed is offered as service to the Lord within. The Lord is the I AM present in me, and the blessing I seek is the blessing I extend by living from that steadfast awareness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and assume the I AM now—your inner Aaron. See the temple of your mind being sanctified, incense of prayer rising, and every action blessed in the name of the I AM.
