Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
David gathers all Israel and asks if it seems good to the LORD to bring back the ark; the people consent because it is right in their eyes.
Neville's Inner Vision
See the scene as a drama of consciousness. The congregation represents your shared state of mind, the habitual belief that it is right to seek the divine presence. The question If it seem good unto you and that it be of the LORD our God becomes your inner invitation to align with the I AM within. The ark stands not as a wooden chest but as the Presence you have allowed to depart from your life through neglect or fear. When they say let us bring again the ark, that is your decision to restore awareness of God in your daily round. The refusal to consult the ark in Saul’s days is the past you are leaving behind; the present is the decision the people make together, the unity of purpose with your higher self. Your inner life is restored when you acknowledge that the Presence is already active, waiting for your conscious acknowledgment. Once you feel that alignment, outward order follows, and what you sought externally comes into your life as a natural expression of your inner conviction.
Practice This Now
Imaginatively assume the Presence is already restored in you. Feel it as a weight at your center and let your daily life reorganize to reflect that inner concord.
