In this lecture Neville Goddard recounts a mystical vision in which he is taken into a divine council and encounters Almightiness (El Shaddai), a recording angel, and infinite love, who commands him with the phrase “Time to act.” He emphasizes that true belief must be tested and proven through imaginal action rather than passive assent. Drawing on the 82nd Psalm, Goddard asserts that every individual stands among the gods and must answer the question “What is the greatest thing in the world?” with love. He warns against endless accumulation of psychological truths (“water”) and urges his listeners to take the next step into application (“wine”) by actively imagining their desires fulfilled. To illustrate the principle, he shares stories of individuals who manifested financial security and life changes by persistently enacting their imaginal scenes. He rejects external rituals and church protocols (“bluebloods”), encouraging practitioners to go within and perform the unseen imaginal acts that create reality. The lecture closes with a call to immediate action—when the opportunity arises, believers must respond in their imagination without delay to demonstrate the vitality of their faith.
