In this lecture Neville Goddard examines the biblical assertion that nothing truly dies, using allegories from Jeremiah, Genesis, and Revelation to illustrate the eternal nature of consciousness. He interprets the word “inflamed” in Jeremiah 51:39 as a self-imposed trance in which we feast on stories until we swoon into a perpetual sleep, unaware of our divine origin. Drawing on the life of Joseph as the archetypal dreamer entombed in Egypt, he shows how the promise of resurrection spans the entire Bible from Genesis to the final plea, “Come, Lord Jesus.” Neville shares personal accounts—of a woman who consciously met her ‘dead’ mother and of his loyal secretary appearing after death—to prove the continuity of life beyond the physical. He introduces the practice of revision (repentance) as a means of breaking the cyclical wheel of recurrence and transforming it into a spiral of ascension. Concluding with the mystical vision of A.E.’s Many Colored Land, he urges listeners to awaken from life’s dream, affirm their divine identity, and live as eternal dreamers.
