In this lecture Neville Goddard examines the biblical concept of the Seven Eyes of God as described in Zechariah and other scripture, identifying each eye as a stage of consciousness within man. He names the first five eyes—Lucifer (the fallen state), Molech (appeasing sacrifice), Elohim (worship of external powers), Shaddai (seeking security in authority), and Pahath (the snaring pit of material traps)—and shows how each fails to bring true fulfillment. The sixth eye is Jehovah or “I AM,” representing bold inner self-assertion, while the seventh eye is Jesus, embodying self-sacrificial love for others and lifting them from their states. Neville then introduces an implied eighth eye, the unveiled imagination, which awakens after the seventh eye is clarified and allows one to see perfect reality. He illustrates practical techniques for using the faculty of touch and faith in dreams and waking life to manifest desires and experiment with alternate worlds. Finally, Neville emphasizes that only by exercising the eye of Jesus fully can the eighth eye of true imaginative vision open, revealing man’s divine potential.
