In this lecture Neville Goddard explores the mystical meaning of the Resurrection as a central act of God that awakens each individual into a higher spiritual reality. He argues that resurrection is not a physical survival of death but a new birth ‘‘from above’’, where the believer awakens within the body, sealed like a tomb in the skull, and then emerges into a world shaped by imaginative power. Drawing on his own profound experience in 1946, Goddard describes the moment of awakening as an act of divine grace in which one sees one’s body laid aside and then is clothed in an immortal form. He emphasizes that this gift is given individually, not earned, and that no mortal eye can perceive the transformed being. Throughout the talk he relates biblical passages—especially from Corinthians, John, and Luke—to unfold the stages of resurrection, birth, ascension, and the promise of glory. He challenges conventional scriptural interpretations and invites listeners to recognize the Resurrection as the inauguration of a new age. Finally, he calls his audience to prepare by learning to dream wisely in this world of sleep until God’s mighty act fulfills them.
