In this lecture Neville Goddard emphasizes the creative power of imagination as the fundamental law governing our reality. He illustrates this with a case history of a woman who, by vividly imagining helping an elderly lady, witnesses the scene unfold in physical reality. Goddard asserts that the external world is a dead mirror until awakened by man’s dreaming consciousness. He redefines repentance as a change of mind or state, rather than a moral judgment, and presents the cross as the intersection of linear time and infinite imaginal states. By consciously enacting desired states and then releasing them, time will manifest them in the world. Ultimately, awakening to our divine status as life-giving spirits allows us to continually create and reshape our experiences.
