Tonight’s lecture ‘The Last Days’ reframes biblical prophecy as a personal journey of spiritual completion rather than the end of the world. Neville Goddard argues that history is cyclical and that each individual enters the ‘new age’ of the kingdom of heaven upon experiencing key personal events. Drawing on texts from Ecclesiastes, Hebrews, Isaiah, Acts and Corinthians, he identifies four ‘last days’ milestones: birth from above, the appearance of the Son (David), the splitting of the inner temple, and the descent of the dove. Goddard asserts that Jesus Christ is actually God the Father, and the Son is David, the express image of the Divine, which the individual will ultimately meet. Testimonies of mystical awakenings, visions of other worlds, and personal encounters with the risen Lord illustrate the universal play of self-realization. Ultimately, the lecture invites listeners to anticipate and recognize these inner transformations as proof of their own divine identity and role in the eternal play.
