In this lecture Neville Goddard redefines God as the individual’s own human imagination, the ‘I AM’ within. He argues that Christ is not an external historical figure but the universal consciousness incarnated in every person. Faith, he asserts, arises from hearing this inner truth preached by those who have experienced it themselves. Scriptural characters are presented as personifications of aspects of the mind rather than literal historical figures. Neville emphasizes that faith in God is measured by confidence in oneself and that one’s world is a reflection of one’s imaginative acts. He calls listeners to test this truth by assuming the feeling of their desires fulfilled, thereby awakening their own divine creative power.
