In this lecture Neville Goddard emphasizes that true authority comes from personal experience rather than inherited tradition. He identifies the human Imagination as the one creative power—God within us—and urges students to close the gap between the God of tradition and a God of experience by testing their own imaginal acts. He illustrates this principle with practical stories: causing a sister-in-law to wear a costly dress and promoting two coworkers through focused imagination. Goddard draws extensively on scripture, especially Psalms and Paul’s revelation, to show that divine power is realized internally when one ‘speaks with authority’ from lived experience. He encourages silent meditation, inner worship, and repeated testing of faith in order to fully integrate this discovery. Finally, he addresses questions on collective faith, the timing of death, and the nature of Christ’s sonship to demonstrate that each individual has unmediated access to the living God within.
