In this lecture Neville Goddard explores the infinite purpose of God and how individual desires fit within that divine plan. He introduces the metaphor of an egg or “nest” representing a conceived wish, urging listeners to ‘sit upon’ their desires nightly and maintain the feeling of the wish fulfilled. Drawing on biblical passages from Habakkuk, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and the writings of Paul, he emphasizes that every vision has its appointed hour and will ripen in due time. Neville illustrates the power of sustained assumption with the real‐life example of a designer who naturally attracted a prestigious Lulu award by mentally dwelling on her success. He further recounts a student’s symbolic dream interpreting crucifixion and resurrection through Hebrew numerology to demonstrate imagination’s creative potency. Ultimately, God’s grand purpose is to ‘hatch’ Himself from humanity, and while that unfolds, we are invited to use our imagination to realize any goal we choose.
