In this lecture delivered on 12 November 1964, Neville Goddard explores Ecclesiastes 3:11—“God has put eternity into the mind of man”—and examines the Hebrew word Olam in its many layers of meaning. He argues that eternity is a hidden creative power within human consciousness, personified as the Father and His Son, the eternal youth David. Citing Richard Feynman’s observations on positrons and space-time, Goddard shows that all events exist in a predetermined, recurring continuum. He teaches that through imagination and a radical change of attitude (“repentance”), we can intervene in this cyclical pattern and manifest desired realities. Drawing on biblical narratives—the Goliath story, the prodigal son, and New Testament passages—he illustrates the soul’s journey into the “grave of man” and its triumphant return. Finally, he offers a guided imaginative exercise to arrest the habitual wheel of recurrence, demonstrating how to hold any scene in the mind’s eye until it actualizes.
