In this lecture Neville Goddard articulates that all objective reality is produced by human imagination and that we must appropriate desired states subjectively to make them facts. He emphasizes believing in the present tense—claiming “I am rich” rather than “I will be rich”—as the only way to activate the creative power within. Goddard illustrates his point with historical examples, such as America’s founding fathers and a visionary story of an empty lot turned into a mansion. He teaches that dreams and visions are direct communications from the divine human imagination, which must be remembered and used as instructions. By persistently entering and animating an imaginal state with feeling, one’s desires will manifest in the external world. Ultimately, Goddard reveals that imagination is God within us, and through faith in our imaginal acts we participate in divine creation.
